About EP&E

The historical event began the first quarter year 2013, when new policies from the Corporation ABB with the instructive to close the Power Systems and Power Products divisions at ABB’s organization in Bolivia.

Under this circumstances Roberto Ampuero – Power Products/Power systems general manager, Ronald Nina and Edwin Quispe senior engineers decided to organize a new Company under the name of ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS & ENGINNERING LTDA – EP&E Ltda. legally stablished in the territory of Bolivia under the structure of a Limited Responsibility Society, following all regulations required by law in order to participate in the business of importation of goods and services, as well as engineering of electrical solutions for medium and high voltage installations on the 09th of May 2013 by a public constitution registered with testimony No. 141/2013

Due to the close relation developed during various years of work with the ABB Group, we have been able to capitalize on client relation, history, market knowledge and expertise on internal ABB structure for each factory or product, allowing to maintain presence in the Bolivian market with the objective to commercialize ABB products, as DISTRIBUITORS of the complete portfolio of Medium and High voltage equipment

The present year (2017) after over a year of evaluations and reports, EP&E was awarded by ABB with a Certificate as “SALES SUPPORT AND ENGINEERING SYSTEM INTEGRATOR OF ABB GRID AUTOMATION PRODUCTS” (ABB ZWEDEN Value Provider), This certificate allow as to commercialize the IED’s family for Distribution , Transmission and Generation systems, integrating control and protection cubicles for the SIN system.

EP&E Ltda. personnel experience, product selection knowledge, product specifications, market distribution and the support of ABB make possible to work as a team to guarantee and offer after sales services to the Bolivian market.

The various years of experience suppling ABB products and other brands of recognized prestige, EP&E has been able to complement requirements for the execution of electrical studies, electromechanical installations, maintenance services and electrical cabling in electrical Substation an the industry in general.
